There’s just one more round of funding from Marlborough Area Board this financial year and still plenty of money in the budget. Take a look below on how your group can access up to £5,000 of funding towards a community project.
Marlborough Area Board offers funding under three main grant schemes. These are available all year round and decisions take place at each area board meeting, which happen every two months. This means you never have to wait long to hear about your funding!
The Community Area Grant scheme has capital funding available that can be used to help you buy new equipment and items that will be “an asset” to your organisation. It can also be used for refurbishment and works to a building, creating new websites or buying land.
The Youth Grant is just that; aimed at 13-19 year olds, or up to 25 with a disability or SEN. This funding is about providing activities and events for young people so could be to set up a youth club, pay for extra sports sessions or put on a music festival.
Finally, the Health & Wellbeing Grant is aimed at older or vulnerable people in our community and can help to fund much-needed services or activities for this group. Recent projects helped have included memory groups for people living with dementia and their carers or keep fit classes for the over 60’s
The last Deadline for grant applications is Monday 4th of March, so take a look at the website for more details.
