Wiltshire Community Resilience Evening

22nd January 2020, 11:20am | By Communities Prepared | Event Date : 20200129

Join us at this free evening event, run in partnership with the Environment Agency, where we’ll be exploring ways to build local community resilience to floods and other severe weather emergencies. We’ll be discussing ways to get more involved in the local community, offering tips and guidance on setting up flood/emergency volunteer groups.  There will be presentations from Action for the River Kennet (ARK) on the role of community volunteering in natural flood management and Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service plus an introduction from Wiltshire Council. Refreshments provided.
