U3A in Kennet Coffee Exchange

30th December 2019, 5:23pm | By John Martin | Event Date : 20200130

The next U3A Coffee Exchange for retired / semi retired folk takes place on the last Thursday of January, the 30th, starting at 10:30am at Wesley Hall Oxford St. Marlborough. The month’s talk is by Matt Fruci, entitled “Do you lose muscle as you age? A nutritional and lifestyle perspective“. Matt grew up with what would now be considered an eating disorder. As a result of his experience he spent 7 years at University becoming a registered nutritionist & qualified personal trainer. During this time he’s learnt how to ‘fix’ his relationship with food and now enjoys a much more balanced and emotionally fulfilling lifestyle. As a result he’s been working with many people over the past 3 years helping them improve their relationship with food, regain control of their eating habits and make this whole ‘fitness thing’ actually fun and sustainable. He has published two books.
