Julie Weir Solo Art Exhibition

8th January 2019, 7:03pm | By Julie Weir | Event Date : 25/01/2019

Julie Weir Solo Art Exhibition.

     Preview evening Friday 25th January 2019 7 pm – 9 pm.

Continues on Saturday 26th January – Saturday 9th March 9 am – 5 pm.

Internationally recognised artist, Julie Weir first picked up a paintbrush in 2011 and within two years she was a finalist in the BBC’s Wildlife Artist of The Year.  Her preferred medium is Acrylic Inks but she also paints in Oils and Watercolours.  Julie’s style is influenced by the nature that surrounds her, travelling the canals of the beautiful county of Wiltshire, with her sketch book handy, capturing the flora, fauna and British wildlife that is so abundant.  Her latest series of paintings feature native birds painted in an oriental style, with gold – leaf decorations.
