Come & Volunteer for Parkinson’s UK in Marlborough!

13th December 2018, 12:07pm | By Jane Henderson |

Parkinson’s UK are looking for a friendly & organised person to volunteer for their Parkinson’s drop-in café once a month at Marlborough Leisure centre.  This takes place on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 2:30 – 3:30pm.

The role includes ensuring the space is set up, meeting and greeting people, chatting & organising refreshments & ensuring all is clear when people leave.

In doing this worthwhile role you would be supporting local people to access a friendly, relaxed and safe environment to be able to meet others affected by Parkinson’s.  There is training and support available as needed.

If you would like further details please contact Jane Henderson, Volunteer Co-ordinator, 0344 225 3694 or jhenderson@parkinsons.org.uk.
