Alzheimer’s Support

21st March 2022, 11:18am | By Kelly Bundy |

Alzheimer’s Support’s is recruiting enthusiastic volunteers for its Movement and Music for the Mind groups which meet on Tuesdays, 10.30am-12noon at Mildenhall Village Hall.

The relaxed and informal groups enjoy gentle exercise to music and singing. Volunteers help to set up the room, provide a friendly welcome, serve refreshments and join in the activity, supporting members and family carers to get the most out of the session.

Alzheimer’s Support volunteer manager Annie Clayton said: “Our volunteers are all ages, from teenagers to retired people and we treasure the contribution they make. All we ask is that you are a people person – we provide all the training you need.”
