Devizes Open Gardens weekend

17th May 2019, 12:47pm | By Zena Robson | Event Date : 15/06/2019

18 gardens will be open around Devizes for the Open Gardens weekend of June 15th and 16th from 12 noon until 4.00 p.m. Maps will be on sale from June 1st from Devizes Books, The Emporium, The Bear Hotel, Hillworth Park cafe and the Town Hall – £5 per adult, children under 18 free. You can use your map over the whole weekend and visit the gardens at your leisure but be aware that some gardens are only open on one of the two days – all details are on the map.

Money raised from the selling of maps will go to the Mayor, Judy Rose’s, charity appeal.

No need to panic if you didn’t get a map before the day – Open Gardeners will have them on sale as well – look for the big blue cornflowers to lead you to a garden.

Some Open Gardeners will have refreshments for sale and some will have plants for sale as well.

Let’s hope for some decent weather between now and then and over the weekend too. We look forward to saying hello!
