Community area grant funding available

Devizes Area Board is inviting funding applications from community groups for projects which will benefit people in the Devizes Community Area. In the past projects ranging from supporting community events, major building projects at village halls, sports clubs, health and wellbeing projects and many others have been supported.

Devizes Community Engagement Manager, Graeme Morrison, said “We still have funding available for applications from community groups. The main funding pot is for capital projects only, although there is a small amount left for revenue projects if the project is for the benefit of young people aged 13 – 19 or for projects specifically related to health and wellbeing. People can find details of the grants criteria on the Wiltshire Council website or get in touch with me directly to discuss.”

If you are involved in a community project or group that requires funding to help complete a project, you could be eligible.
