The government has announced the rollout of asymptomatic testing (using lateral flow tests) in the community and for businesses, to enable us to target testing to people who cannot work from home during lockdown.
We know how important this is for many of you, but we are currently waiting guidance from government on these tests.
Once we have it, we will promote it widely on our website, through our social media channels, and in the local media, so please do not contact us about this at present.
It’s important to note that this type of testing is not something that can be used in isolation, but if used properly with other measures it can be a useful tool at our disposal to help break transmission.
