Devizes Area Board’s next meeting will take place on Monday 6th December at 6.30pm. With us all needing to take care and protect ourselves as winter sets in, this meeting will stay online as it has all through the pandemic.
This meeting will hear how the current Fostering campaign to find 23 new carers from the Devizes area has gone. Being able to care for children in their own area helps to keep them at their own school, see their own friends and make a difficult transition a little more familiar.
Staff and pupils from St Joseph’s School, Devizes will be telling us about their ideas for a new road safety project and how we all need to be more considerate when we park our cars.
Staff from Wiltshire Council’s Economic team will be launching a new grant scheme aimed at supporting the county’s small or independent businesses through up to £3m of government funding that’s become available. Keep you eye out for more about the new Vibrant Wiltshire scheme.
We’ll also get updates from our usual partners and working groups and hear what progress towards the board’s priorities is being made.
There will also be grant applications to be considered.
