Opportunity for Personal Trainers at Springfield Campus

The fitness suite at Springfield Community Campus has just undergone an extensive refurbishment, making it one of, if not the best equipped gym in the area. We have state of the art equipment including two Olympic lifting platforms, a full range of free weights, a functional training PT area, fantastic CV equipment plus loads more. It is an exciting time to be part of Springfield Community Campus, our member base is growing and we want to support this growth by expanding our personal training offer.

About the Role 

We are looking for self-employed, fully qualified Personal Trainers to operate their business out of our facility. We offer flexible initial rental arrangements and the ability to offer personal training at other Wiltshire Council leisure facilities at no extra cost. You will be able to recruit additional clients from our members as well as bring in your existing clients at no additional cost.

To be an external Personal Trainer at Wiltshire Council you will have: 

  • A passion for health and fitness and a real people person
  • Outstanding customer service and professionalism
  • The ability to work in partnership with other teams where necessary

Candidates must have the following qualifications/Experience: 

  • Level 3 PT qualification recognised by REP’s or CIMPSPA
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Previous Personal Training experience
  • Public Liability Insurance

Opportunity for class instruction:

  • Personal Trainers with group exercise class qualifications may have the possibility to cover and gain regular classes on our fitness timetable.

Rental Agreement

Rent is invoiced monthly; however you have the freedom to build your business at your own pace with our tiered rental structure, along with the peace of mind of no rent being due in your first month.

Month 1 – £0 per week

 Month 2 – £20 per week

 Month 3 (onwards) – 1-9 Clients – £45 per week, 10+ Clients – £75 per week
