Carer Support Wiltshire and Dorothy House Hospice Care are pleased to announce a new partnership, which will offer support to unpaid carers who have experienced bereavement.
The two charities are running a fortnightly Bereavement Help Point group at Three Brewers in Corsham, which is open for anyone in the community who has been touched by grief to drop in and receive support.
When someone close to us dies we can be left feeling lost and alone, in a strange world. If we have been caring for that person, the loss can feel particularly disorientating as our lives and daily routines will have been centred around caring for them.
The Bereavement Help Point is an informal and supportive space that is facilitated by trained Dorothy House and Carer Support Wiltshire volunteers. It is a place where people can be with others who are bereaved and talk about their feelings and fears.
All sessions are free and there’s no need to book, you can simply come along.
If you require any more information, please contact Carer Support Wiltshire at email@example.com / 0800 181 4118.
