Join Music for the Mind

21st February 2020, 8:51am | By Joanna Pazucha |

Music for the Mind, Alzheimer’s Support’s friendly singing group is welcoming new members in Corsham.

Singing together is fun and therapeutic, both for people living with dementia and family carers. The group, which has been running in Corsham for more than 10 years, sings songs old and new and learns rhymes and action songs which can help with physical coordination. It’s led by a professional singing teacher who is trained in dementia awareness and supported by dedicated volunteers.

The Corsham group meets on Tuesday afternoons, 2-3.30pm at the Community Centre.
