Corsham area board has funding to support a range of community projects.
Community Area Grants
The Community Area Grant Scheme will support capital projects – funding for equipment, buildings, ground works, vehicles and assets that have a long life span.
Youth Funding
Funding is available to support projects that provide positive activities for young people.
A positive activity can be any educational or recreational leisure-time activity that is sports, leisure, arts, informal education and community based which helps young people achieve healthy and safe lifestyle outcomes.
Revenue and capital funding is available to support those wishing to provide positive activities for 13 – 19 year olds and those aged up to 25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
Health & Wellbeing Funding
The Area Board also has funding to support local Health & Wellbeing projects in the Corsham community area for older people and carers. Revenue funding has been allocated from the adult services budget to support projects and initiatives that benefit older and vulnerable residents. Reducing social isolation and loneliness should be a key driver behind the allocation of this funding.
