Corsham Area Board awards £18,822 to community projects

At last night’s Corsham Area Board meeting councillors awarded funding to nine community projects that help to address local priorities…

  1. Corsham RFC Solar Panels and Battery Storage Facility – £5000
  2. Improving access to the Box Rights of Way network – £1000
  3. Pound Arts Sustainability Works- £2180
  4. Selwyn Hall Box Replacement Stage Extension – £3000
  5. Colerne Rights of Way Improvement scheme – £1000
  6. Box Methodist Church Community Café Warm Welcome Scheme – £500
  7. Corsham School – Music Therapy  – £5000
  8. Corsham School  – Digital Empowerment Programme 2023 – £725
  9. Spark Youth Wellbeing Festival 2023 – £1800

Over £25,000 of funding has been awarded to community, youth and health and wellbeing projects in 2022-2023.
