Celebrating Age at Pound Arts presents The Audition and Eldermirth

13th September 2019, 10:15am | By Ros Griffiths |

Celebrating Age Wiltshire offers arts, culture and heritage activity for older people in their own community settings.

THE AUDITION: A Jukebox Opera on your Doorstep

WEDNESDAY 25 SEPTEMBER, 11:00

Three professional singers arrive for a mysterious audition. They haven’t seen each other for a long time, but when they get together they can’t help but burst into song. Written by popular playwright Rachel Barnett and directed by Keltie Forsyth with some brilliant touches from award-winning director Helen Eastman. Featuring internationally renowned professional opera singers – a Soprano, Mezzo Soprano and Baritone (pictured).
