Volunteer Vacancies  – Charity Trustee

We are looking for people to bring energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the role of Trustee, who will broaden the diversity of thinking on our board.

The RISE Trust – Reach, Include, Support, Enable

The RISE Trust supports many projects in North Wiltshire. We manage 4 designated Children’s Centres providing services for families across the area with at least one child under the age of 5.  In addition, we offer Youth services, 121 Outreach support, Contact Centre, Pre-schools and Volunteering opportunities.

Trustees play a vital role in making sure that The RISE Trust achieves its core purpose. They oversee the overall management and administration of the charity. They also ensure that RISE has a clear strategy and that our work and goals are in line with our vision.

You do not need previous governance experience – we will provide a full induction and training.

The RISE Trust is a Christian community charity which is totally diverse and inclusive. We ask our volunteers to have an empathy for and understanding of our values and beliefs.

No governance experience necessary as full training and ongoing support are provided.

To find out more please contact Julia Harle, Chair of Trustees,  JuliaH@therisetrust.org

The RISE Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all volunteers and staff to share in this commitment.

These roles are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced disclosure and barring service check and training as appropriate.
