Youth Club Volunteer

4th April 2019, 11:51am | By Penny Fisher |

Do you feel you could make a difference to the lives of young people in your area? We are looking for volunteers to come along & support our youth clubs for young people with additional needs.

Barnardo’s provide a range of services on behalf of Wiltshire Council and are looking for volunteers to support us in our Wiltshire Short Breaks Scheme to:

-Undertake youth club sessions once per week, for children and young people aged 13-25 across the county. (Tuesday evenings in Calne, 7:00-9:00)

-To help set up and tidy away activities

-To support the young people to access and participate in the activities available – activities include cooking, arts, craft, music, gaming etc.

-To participate in group and one-to-one activities and most importantly to HAVE FUN with the young people!

Some previous experience of this service user group would be helpful, but not essential.

You will need to be confident and enthusiastic with plenty of energy! You will work as part of a team.
