Wiltshire Voluntary and Community Sector Forum – 2nd March, 10am

25th January 2022, 11:28am | By David |

Dear Community Member

You are invited to the next meeting of the Wiltshire Voluntary and Community Sector Forum on Wednesday 2nd March at 10am until 12.30 pm

The Voluntary and Community Sector Forum offers the opportunity for VCSE organisations to hear from speakers about projects, activity and developments that are relevant to the sector in Wiltshire, connect with one another ,share experience, and develop good practice.

At our first forum of 2022, we will hear from Alex Neale, Community First, about the project carried out on behalf of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), to learn more about the experience of those facing Cancer around digital and rural exclusions. The project looked at how people were affected if they live rurally when it came to support available? and how they felt about the support given throughout the pandemic?

We will also hear from Donna Peake, BSW Partnership who will provide an overview of the People and Communities’ strategy to be developed and the engagement activity around health inequalities and co-production that will support the strategy development.

We would also like to hear from you.  We would like to hear and celebrate the diversity, creativity and dedication of those working and volunteering in Wiltshire’s Voluntary and Community Organisations, to hear first-hand of the opportunities and challenges on the horizon, and share ideas about the key enablers that would assist in meeting these opportunities and challenges, which will help inform future forum meeting topics, presentations and information exchange, WCA training, tools and resource support.

I hope you can join us and I look forward to seeing you on 2nd March, Please sign up via https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wiltshire-voluntary-and-community-sector-forum-tickets-244473826797
