Temporary Introduction of 30mph Speed Limit: A4 Black Dog Hill (Part) and A4 Chilvester Hill (Part), Calne Without (Ref: TTRO 6075)

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following lengths of roads:

A4 Black Dog Hill (Part) Calne Without; from its junction with A4 Chilvester Hill for a distance of approximately 680 metres in a westerly direction;

A4 Chilvester Hill (Part) Calne Without; from its junction with A4 Black Dog Hill for a distance of approximately 500 metres in an easterly direction.

To enable: Ringway to carry out bridge repairs and repainting.

The speed limit restriction will be clearly indicated by traffic signs.

This Order will come into operation on 05 August 2019 and will be required until 04 October 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
