1/ Witness appeal: Burglary.

This happened between 07/07/2019 09:54hrs and 08/07/2019 09:54hrs in Swindon Road, Hilmarton, Calne.

Unknown suspects have gained entry to a house by smashing a window.

2/ Witness appeal: Theft.

This happened between 08/07/2019 13:45hrs and 11/07/2019 14:00hrs in Ratford, Calne.

Unknown suspect/s have entered a yard and stolen scaffolding equipment valued at approximately £7000.

3/ Witness appeal: Criminal Damage.

This happened on 09/07/2019 at 19:21hrs in Fishers brook, Calne.

Unknown suspect/s have entered a hay field by climbing over a gate. They have then set a small fire. The fire has been extinguished by the owner of the field.

4/ On 10/07/2019 02:09hrs, police were called to the old Woodland social club in Woodland park, Calne.
Officers attended the location and located a male within the property. The male was arrested on suspicion of burglary. Upon being searched he was found to be in possession of an item believed to be a class A drug. The male was also arrested on suspicion of assaulting a security officer.

Mr John Lynch, 39 years old of Royal Wootton Bassett was charged and bailed to attended Swindon Court on 23/09/2019 at 10:00hrs

5/ Witness appeal: theft from vehicle.

This happened between 11/07/2019 21:00hrs 12/07/2019 06:00hrs and in Station Road, Calne.

Unknown males seen to open the rear doors of a Renault van setting off the alarm and then driving off in another vehicle. The owner later discovered that a Makita Radio and Makita Circular Saw had been taken from the vehicle

6/ Witness appeal: Theft from vehicle.

This happened between 11/07/2019 22:30hrs and 12/07/2019 07:50 in Wenhill Heights, Calne.

Unknown suspect/s have stolen several power tools and an electric planer from a secured Citroen van which was parked on a driveway.

7/ Witness appeal: Theft from vehicle.

This happened between 11/07/2019 18:00hrs and 12/07/2019 11:40hrs in Buzzard Road, Calne.

Unknown suspect/s have gained access to a Vauxhall van whilst it was parked on a driveway, and stolen an unknown amount of power tools.

8/ Witness appeal: Criminal Damage/ Attempt theft from a vehicle.

This happened between 11/07/2019 16:30hrs and 12/07/2019 14:00hrs in north Street, Calne.

Unknown suspect/s have attempted to break in to a Vauxhall van causing damage to the door. No items were taken from within the vehicle.

9/ On 13/07/2019 00:15hrs officers located a silver Ford Focus parked near to the edge of the old RAF in New Zealand, near Calne. The officers noticed the scent of Cannabis and searched the vehicle and three persons sat within the vehicle.
A 25 year old male from Swindon was issued a cannabis street warning for being found in possession of Cannabis.

10/ On 14/07/2019 01:53hrs, a red Volkswagen Polo was stopped on Oxford road in Calne after officers notice a strong scent of cannabis emitting from the vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance and for being in possession of a controlled substance. The vehicle was then also discovered to be showing no insurance, so the vehicle was seized and recovered. The driver will also be reported for the offence of driving with no insurance.

The driver has been released under investigation.
