Learners will explore the following:
- How to make your world greener.
- Ways of growing and using your own vegetables.
- How to make environmental change in your community/ neighbourhood.
- How to become a citizen of science – complete small fun tasks individually.
Our tutors are supportive and knowledgeable, and classes are relaxed and informal. This course is open to anyone 19+ who meet the following criteria: (Please note: any potential learner does not need to have children attending Marden Vale school.)
FaCL online courses are funded by the education and skills funding agency.
Courses are no cost to learners if they are 19+ and have been a resident in UK/EU for 3+years, Wiltshire postcode and if you can tick any of these criteria:
- have less than 5 GCSEs grades a-c
- in receipt of benefits
- are a service family
- are a family with SEN children
- are unemployed
- Individuals with certain types of immigration status and their family members
