Calne Code Trail – Coming Soon!

10th July 2020, 9:29am | By janevaughan |

During this summer holiday the fabulous Calne Wordfest group will be running an exciting new project – Calne Code Trail.

The idea is that families will download an app called Calne Code Trail from their Playstore or Appstore onto a mobile device and follow a trail around the centre of Calne gathering information from QR codes positioned at 10 locations; the information will form a complete story.

The game will be free to play and is suitable for people of all ages; the stories will change from time to time and for this first appearance, Calne Code Trail will be available from 27 July until 29 August.

The Trail will be supported and funded by Calne Area Board the first phase of the project will include stories written by local people and it is hoped , if the first phase of this project is successful and as the current lockdown eases, opportunities will develop for intergenerational activities bringing younger people together with some older groups to create, record and share real stories of our experiences of growing up and living in the Calne Community.
