Civic Awards

13th January 2022, 3:39pm | By Ewan McConnachie |

The Calne Civic Awards are a celebration of people who have made an outstanding contribution to Calne; they can be a neighbour, community group or even a local business.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been an especially difficult time for us all and the Civic Awards are a way of celebrating members of the community and businesses who have gone above and beyond to provide help, support and care to local residents.
The awards are split into three categories: Calne Civic Award, Young Citizen Civic Award, Arts and Sports Civic Award.
The Civic Awards are there to celebrate those who have supported the community during the pandemic, but also in ‘normal’ times too. If you know of a local person or business who has gone above and beyond for the local community in the last year, for whatever reason, then please do submit a nomination.
To nominate someone for a Civic Award, please complete the below nomination form and return to nwaters@calne.gov.uk or post to Bank House, The Strand, Calne, SN11 0EN by 5pm Thursday 24th February.
