Befriending Volunteers needed for Talk and Suppor

‘Do you have a free hour per week to support unpaid carers, over the telephone, for a friendly chat? If so, please contact Lindsey Millen at Carer Support Wiltshire; lindseym@carersupportwiltshire.co.uk. The Talk and Support project has been vital during the last 12 months and unpaid carers have commented ‘it’s been a lifeline to just chat to someone,’ volunteers too have found it a rewarding experience valuing the accredited training and range of experiences. Many volunteers have joined us through their employers, on furlough, practical experience needed for their CV or just to make a difference and support isolated carers.
