Mill Street day club, which serves Bradford on Avon and Trowbridge, has been running again for several weeks now after receiving permission to reopen from Public Health England – and for the first time in six years has spaces to fill.

The club, run by Alzheimer’s Support, is following strict procedures to keep everyone safe and only opened after a new ventilation system was installed.

Head of  Day Care Grant Newton said: “Thankfully the new procedures have not stopped us from providing a joyful, informal atmosphere that is so loved by our members. But the damage of lockdown is still with us and we have day club vacancies in all our  Wiltshire clubs – in Devizes, Trowbridge and especially Warminster.

“We are now ready to welcome new members so please get in touch for an informal chat about how we may be able to support you or a family member.”

You can call Grant on 01225 775023 or email Grant
