Julian House Circuit of Bath Walk

16th June 2020, 11:13am | By Jessiac Gay | Event Date : 20200927

Join Julian House for the Circuit of Bath Walk and take a stand against homelessness.

If any of our fundraising events need to be postponed or cancelled due to COVID-19, we will, of course, be offering an optional refund.

With stunning views and landscapes across the historical city of Bath, by taking part in the Circuit of Bath Walk you’ll get to explore the city and its countryside in a completely new way. In addition, you’ll be helping us to provide life changing support to over 1,400 vulnerable men, women and children across the region. It’s a grim realisation, that without support like ours, the life expectancy of a long-term homeless person is just 45 years! But you can help change that.

The Coronavirus has had a devastating effect on our income and ability to fund our life changing services. But your participation and sponsorship raised will help enable us to continue supporting and empowering socially excluded people to build sustainable and independent lives.

There are routes to suit most abilities and ages. Make the most of the day and challenge yourself to take on the full 20-mile route in 2020 or a distance of your choosing thanks to our free shuttle bus service. For everyone who does completes the epic 20-mile route, we will award them with a special commemorative medal to mark their achievement.

Dogs are very welcome and everyone taking part will receive a special waterproof route map and instructions to be stamped at each checkpoint. We’ve also created a designated push chair route along the canal for young families.

Your entry includes:

  • Fundraising and training support, ideas and tips
  • Special waterproof map and route instructions with Circuit of Bath lanyard
  • Qualified first aid and medical support
  • Refreshment stops with water and snacks
  • Snacks and water for dogs at each checkpoint
  • A medal for finishers of the full 20-mile route
  • Free shuttle bus service between check points
