Corsham Walking Festival 11 – 13 June – now booking

7th April 2021, 12:59pm | By David |

Throughout last Autumn and over the Winter months the Corsham Walking Festival Committee have been working behind the scenes, in isolation of course, to put together this year’s Corsham Walking Festival Programme.

The last twelve months has seen an increase in footfall on our local footpaths and byways, especially family groups keen to find something new in the local area to explore.

So, what better way for you and your family to emerge from Lockdown #3 than to go on a walk in an area that you have never travelled learning something new about North West Wiltshire.

Our guided walks will explore our beautiful countryside with hidden valleys, meandering brooks and far-reaching views looking at ancient Parishes and Manor Houses, the areas Industrial and Rural Heritage plus one focussed on wildflowers.

There is also a Free Programme that includes the ever-popular Children’s Treasure Hunt, Nordic Walking and one to look at Lichens and Mosses.

Whilst families and groups can join in our Cryptic Mystery Walk – ‘Corsham Needs a Super-Hero’, to test their powers of observation around the local area.

To find out more information please visit our website at: www.corshamwalkingfestival.org.uk

Or have a look at our FaceBook page to see all things walking related in and around Corsham.

Booking for all walks is now OPEN
