You are warmly invited to the next meeting of the Paths4All initiative which is available to groups & local councils in the Amesbury area.
You will be able to find out how to access funding for your project and there will be a team of people on hand to help with your ideas.
Stonehenge Area Board has put aside £5,000 to get more people out walking, enjoying their towns, villages and countryside.
Funding is available for community groups & Parish Councils to improve their local footpaths or to encourage more walking amongst residents.
Funding is available for maintenance of footpaths, installing kissing gates, maybe a bench along the way, joining up routes, creating a circular route, production and printing of maps & guides, creating a walking or footpath group or a publicity & marketing drive. The list is not exhaustive and we would like to hear your ideas.
The process to get funding is quick and easy as long as you have a viable idea and permission from the land-owner for your project.
Please contact Cllr Ian Blair-Pilling or the Community Engagement Manager, Jacqui Abbott to discuss your ideas and find out how to apply.
