Movement for the Mind Volunteer

18th November 2022, 12:35pm | By Annie Clayton |

  • Are you reasonably fit & free Weds mornings?
  • Live in Ludgershall, Tidworth or Amesbury?
  • Enjoy being with others, chatting, having a laugh and perhaps a bit of dancing?

Then, you might be just the person to support our movement group …

Alzheimer’s Support started Movement for the Mind in response to research showing the benefits of physical activity to those with memory and cognitive problems.

Taking part in a social group activity is stimulating and uplifting, and can enhance the well-being of people in the early to mid-stages of dementia, together with their family carers.

We are looking for friendly men and women to support our Movement for the Mind group at St James Church Hall in Ludgershall,  on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday morning each month

If you’d like to find out more please contact our volunteer manager  Annie , phone 01380 739 055 or visit our website to complete our  volunteer sign-up form
