Fantastic accommodation for over 55’s in Amesbury

24th August 2018, 10:37am | By daveroberts |

“Are you over 55 year of age and thinking about a move to more suitable housing?  Did you know that in Amesbury Wiltshire Council have been building a new development called Evergreen Court?  The development offers 60 self-contained spacious apartments with either a patio or balcony, the facilities on site also include a café, hairdressing salon, assisted bathroom, mobility scooter store, laundry, scheme manager on site Monday – Friday and a 24/7 emergency call system wired through the building.

The development is based on Archers Way and overlooks the Sports Pavilion.  Once complete the building will offer activities for those interested in socialising with their neighbours and the wider community as well as a nutritious home-cooked meal.

You also have a choice to rent or part buy at the development with 20 of the apartments available on a shared ownership basis and 40 available as affordable rent.  There is a mix of 1 beds and 2 beds available.

Over 20 of the apartments have already been filled and the building is due to open in September.  If this is something that sounds interesting to you, but you aren’t quite sure if you’re ready to make the change or take the step you could arrange a tour of the building from mi-late September.

The properties are being advertised on Homes 4 Wiltshire (www.home4wiltshire.gov.uk)  you will need to be registered on Homes 4 Wiltshire in order to apply for the properties.

If you would like more information or to arrange a viewing call Laura Young on 07810830859 or email laura.young@wiltshire.gov.uk
