COMING BACK – WITH MUSIC FOR EVERYONE
After a delay of some twenty months, the Weyhill Electronic Organ Society is set to resume monthly concerts on Thursday 21 October 2021, when the guest performer will be Phil Brown from Derby, performing on multi-electronic keyboards.
Phil has played as supporting act with the late Joe Loss and his Orchestra, as well as with the Syd Lawrence Orchestra, at the Derby Assembly Rooms. In addition to performing on electronic keyboards, Phil is also a very accomplished pianist, having achieved various top qualifications and diplomas. He has performed in the USA and Spain as well as at festivals in Germany.
The concert (the Club’s 216th) is being staged at the Fairground Hall in Weyhill, commencing at 7.30 p.m., with doors opening at 7.00 p.m. Admission is £6.00 (payment at the door) and interval refreshments will be available.
Everyone who enjoys melodic, easy listening live music is urged to attend and to demonstrate that there is still a demand for the quality entertainment provided by the Club. Public support will obviously be appreciated and newcomers are most welcome. Further information can be obtained by visiting the Club website www.weyhill-eos.co.uk or by phoning (01264) 323213.
