Parents encouraged to register babies born during lockdown

Parents with newborn babies are being encouraged to get in touch as the telephone line to make birth registration appointments with the Wiltshire Registration Service has re-opened. People can call 0300 003 4569 to make an appointment in the Chippenham, Salisbury or Trowbridge offices. There is now less than a year to go until the deadline for applications to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS). Wiltshire Council is encouraging local residents to apply for the scheme. The UK Government has put this scheme in place to allow people to demonstrate their continued right to be here.
